Resetting mints a new NDA link and kills the old one on the spot. Signatures you already hold are untouched. There is no redirect, so anyone holding the old address gets turned away.

Reset it

Resetting is only available while the NDA is published.
1

Open the ... menu

In the NDA header.
2

Click Reset link

Confirm, and Userplay mints the new address on the spot.
3

Reshare

Copy the new address and send it out again.
Revoking from the invite dialog does the same thing. A live announcement repoints itself at the new address, so you do not have to edit or repost it.

What resetting does

  • Anyone holding the previous link can no longer use it.
  • The new link takes over immediately, and you keep collecting signatures on it.
  • Every signature you already hold stays put, with its evidence intact.
Everyone holding the old link loses access the moment you reset, including anyone partway through reading the agreement. Reset if the link leaked. Otherwise leave it alone.

Reset does not change the terms

The agreement is frozen at publish and a reset does not touch it. Signers on the new address see exactly what signers on the old one saw, and their signatures carry the same content hash. If the terms need to change, create a new NDA instead.
