Playbooks
Stop a recurring announcement
Playbook: pause a schedule to edit it, or let it finish.
Track your announcement messages
Playbook: read the calendar and manage individual sends.
Unpublish it
Click Unpublish in the header, or pick Unpublish from the overflow menu, then confirm. The announcement returns to a draft you can edit. What unpublishing does
- Every message this announcement posted is removed from your Discord channel.
- The next pending send is cancelled, so nothing more posts.
- Sends that have not fired yet return to your plan’s allowance.
- The content and schedule unlock, so you can edit again.
If a post cannot come down
If the Userplay bot lost access to the channel, that post stays up and the send keeps its Sent status with the reason shown on the send’s details. Restore the bot’s permissions, then take it down from the send’s details.Sends come back, deliveries do not
Publishing reserves a send for every post an announcement will make. Unpublishing returns only the ones that never fired.
A delivery is a real post to your community, so it is never refunded once it goes out. Removing the post afterwards does not change that: the send was spent the moment it was delivered.
Unpublished is not completed
Both stages stop future sends, but they mean different things.
Unpublish is a pause you can undo by publishing again. Completed is the natural end of a schedule.
Editing then republishing
To change a live announcement, unpublish it, make your edits on the Compose or About tab, and publish again. Republishing reserves sends afresh for whatever the schedule now holds.Related articles
