What publishing does
- The public link starts resolving.
- The agreement and its checkboxes freeze, for good.
- The Signatures and Analytics tabs appear.
- Any announcement you switched on posts to Discord.
What publishing needs
Only one thing: the agreement has to have something in it. Unlike a survey, an empty agreement is never a valid choice. A signature against nothing is not evidence of anything, so Userplay refuses the publish rather than letting you collect signatures that do not mean anything. Onboarding, the acknowledgement, and even the name are all optional.One way out of draft
An NDA leaves draft once and never goes back. After that it moves between published and unpublished for the rest of its life. The agreement stays frozen in both states, because signatures already exist against it.Related articles
