The acknowledgement is the screen a signer lands on the instant their signature is recorded. It is your chance to confirm the agreement is on file and say what comes next.

Writing it

The editor takes content and media blocks: headings, text, lists, images, and video embeds. No questions. The signing is done. Three templates ship with it: Leave it empty and the step drops out of the flow entirely: signers see the agreement, agree, and that is the end of it. That is a reasonable choice for an NDA you are sending to one person who already knows what happens next.
If access follows the signature, say so here and say roughly when. An acknowledgement that ends the conversation leaves the signer wondering whether anything actually happened.

When it locks

Never. You can rewrite the acknowledgement on a live NDA and the next signer sees the new version. Only the agreement freezes at publish.
